There is much preparation into hosting a barefoot tournament. The most important task related to starting the Tournament on time is compiling/printing running orders and building boat crews. In order for this to happen the Tournament organizers need everyone Pre-registered. With participants pre-registered it allows the Tournament Director and Chief Judge to compile running orders and boat crews well before the tournament is scheduled to start. With running orders pre-printed it enables everyone to know when they are going to foot/officiate before the scheduled start time and be prepared for the scheduled start time. Before MBA started on-line pre-registration we were averaging a start time of 2 hours after the scheduled start time. With the implementation of on-line registration we have started with-in 5minutes of the scheduled start time. Please, pre-register as this allows for a more enjoyable experience for everyone.
